A major car rental company was looking to target smartphone users who have a high purchase intent for travel, hotel stays, resorts, dining and/or nightlife during the summer months into the middle of the fall.

Solution

Foursquare was able to provide the client with two promoted specials running at all of the chain’s locations, with a special incentive to cardholders of a national motor club.

Results

The campaign delivered more than 7,282 check-ins to the chain’s locations, with close to 1MM impressions served and an action rate of 1.64%. Performance by day of week was also noteworthy, with Tuesday, Friday and Saturday being the highest days for check-ins tied to messaging.
