The client was seeking to generate brand awareness among the Foursquare audience for their healthy line of specialty juices.
Foursquare offered them place-based ads to reach consumers bucketed into three different segments: Grocery Stores/Convenience Stores/Organic Markets, Gyms/Fitness/Yoga Studios and Outdoors & Recreation. The place-based ads provided a mix of a sweepstakes and a coupon discount as a call-to-action.
The campaign delivered an average CTR of 1.96%, more than 6x the average mobile CPG benchmark rate. Additionally, the save rate for the coupon offer was 30% - a +58% increase above the Foursquare average CPG save rate.
